The Harlan County Lady Bears feel to 13th Region favorite Whitley County 7-25, 18-25 in volleyball action on Tuesday,
Cellina Hatmaker had a kill and a point to pace Harlan County in the opening set. Whitney Stevens recorded a tip and an ace, while Brittany Clem added a point.
Stevens delivered two kills, a service point and two additional points to power the Lady Bears in a competitive second set. Clem contributed an ace and a save, while Katelyn Reynolds added a tip and a point.
Harlan County swept the visiting Lady Colonels 21-19, 21-17 in the junior varsity contest.
