The 12th annual Harlan County Christian Women’s retreat was held recently at the Harlan Center. Pictured are Paula Johnson, left, of Baxter, and her daughter Allison, registering for the event as hostess Norma Mink, center, assists them.


Keynote speaker for the Harlan County Christian Women’s Retreat was Christian author, radio personality, prayer warrior and advocate Margaret Therkelsen, of Lexington.


Approximately 150 women attended the Harlan County Christian Women’s Retreat recently where they were treated to testimonies, praise and worship celebrating “Joy in the Mountains.”


Included in the Harlan County Christian Women’s Retreat held recently was a continental breakfast and lunch. There was also door prizes given to those participating in the event.
