The Harlan County Bass Anglers launched out on May 25 on Cherokee Lake for a tournament sponsored by Lemarr Trucking.


Lowell Caudill and Marty Cornett took first-place in the event with the five largest bass weighing 13.40 pounds.


The team of Johnny Ray and Joe Baltimore brought in the biggest largemouth at 4.45 pounds.


Kendall Caudill and Teddy Cox brought in the biggest smallmouth at 3.10 lbs.


Boats launched from Douglas Lake June 8 for the Farley Trucking sponsored tournament.


The team of Johnny Ray and Jamie Brackett brought the winning weight to the scales with five bass weighing 14.25 pounds.


The team of Jimmy Garrett and Jonathan Hatfield brought in the biggest largemouth weighing in at 5.35 pounds. No smallmouths were weighed in; therefore, the title of second biggest largemouth went to Johnny Ray and Jamie Brackett at 4.80 pounds.


The Bass Anglers launched out on Norris Lake June 22for the Danny Williams Trucking sponsored event.


Lowell Caudill and Marty Cornett took first-place in the event, with a total weight of 9.05 pounds. John Hatfield and Jimmy Garrett caught the biggest largemouth of the event, weighing in at 2.65 pounds.


No smallmouth were weighed in; therefore, the title of second biggest largemouth went to Lowell Caudill and Marty Cornett, with a weight of 2.30 pounds.


Presley Trucking sponsored event to Cherokee Lake July 6.


Wes Griebel and Glenn Williams took top honors in the tournament with a total weight of 13.45 pounds. Lowell Caudill and Marty Cornett came to the scales with the biggest largemouth of the event. It weighed 4.30 pounds. The team of Griebel and Williams also took home the title of biggest smallmouth of the event, with a weight of 3.60 pounds.


Bass Anglers headed out to Douglas Lake July 20 for their event sponsored by J. Turner Trucking.


Glenn Williams and Wes Griebel weighed in at the scales with a total weight of 16.50 pounds, which won them first-place in the event.


The team of Williams and Griebel also caught the biggest largemouth of the event, which weighed 4.85 pounds. No smallmouth were weighed in; therefore, Keith Brewer and Tommy Webb won the title of second biggest largemouth. It weighed 4.50 pounds.


The Harlan County Bass Anglers went to Norris Lake Aug. 3 to compete in the S.A.D Trucking tournament.


Keith Brewer and Travis Helton took the victory with a weight of 9.05 pounds. The team of Johnny Ray and Jamie Brackett reeled in the biggest largemouth, which weighed 3.85 lbs. No smallmouth were weighed in. The team of Keith Brewer and Travis Helton and the team of John Hatfield and Derrick Hatfield tied for the title of second biggest largemouth, with a weight of 2.10 pounds.


They traveled to Cherokee Lake Aug. 17 for their R and D Trucking tournament.


Joe Baltimore and Adam Branson came in first-place in the event, with a weight 16.20 pounds. Baltimore and Branson also caught the biggest largemouth of the event, which weighed 5.15 pounds. John Hatfield and Jimmy Garrett reeled in the biggest smallmouth during the tournament, which weighed 3.10 pounds.


On Aug. 31, the Bass Anglers launched out on Douglas Lake for the Jim Roddy sponsored tournament.


Chris Bentley and Herman Johnson came in first place with a weight of 14.50 pounds.


Tommy Webb and Keith Brewer caught the biggest Largemouth of the tournament, which weighed 5.25 pounds. The team of Bentley and Herman also caught the second biggest largemouth of the tournament, which weighed 4.05 pounds. No smallmouth were weighed in.


Martin’s Truck Parts sponsored a tournament on Norris Lake Sept. 14.


Jimmy Garrett and John Hatfield took top honors in the tournament, with a total weight of 12.15 pounds.


The team of Hatfield and Garrett also reeled in the biggest largemouth of the event, which weigh 4.05 pounds. The team of Johnny Ray and Jamie Brackett won the title of biggest smallmouth for the event, which weighed 2.65 pounds.
