Dr. Roger C. Noe, professor of psychology at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College, was honored recently for his 40 years of service to the college where he has taught and also served as dean of academic affairs. Noe, a native of Harlan, holds degrees from the University of the Cumberlands, Eastern Kentucky University and a doctorate in education from the University of Kentucky. He also served 14 years in the Kentucky House of Representatives, serving seven of those years as chairman of the Education Committee. He also studied at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and has been named a distinguished alumnus of the University of the Cumberlands and EKU. Noe was honored by SKCTC President Dr. Lynn Moore during a convocation of faculty and staff held at the Benham School House Inn.
