According to Kentucky State Trooper Jared Boggs, both vehicles, a Saturn and a Jeep, were traveling southbound when one vehicle merged without signalling, striking the other. The roof of the Saturn was cut away to allow the two occupants to be removed. No further information is available at this time. Boggs is investigating the incident.
