Nursing Home Week celebrated


Photo submitted Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center celebrated National Nursing Home Week, May 9-13. Recently, Harlan County Judge-Executive Dan Mosley signed a proclamation claiming the week. The American Health Care Association (AHCA) designated May 9-13 as a week to celebrate long-term care using the theme “It’s a Small World with a Big Heart.” Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center celebrated long-term care by providing a week full of fun activities for residents, families and staff to enjoy together. In keeping with the week’s theme, they celebrated a different country each day.
