A Bledsoe woman is facing a burglary charge after allegedly entering a home and assaulting a woman.
Hazel G. Brock, 36, was arrested on Monday by Kentucky State Police Trooper Jacob Spurlock.
According to the arrest warrant, Brock entered a woman’s home on Aug. 19, 2013 with the intent to commit a crime. Brock entered the woman’s home and assaulted her. The warrant states Brock is to have no contact with the woman and is to remain off the property.
Brock was charged with second-degree burglary and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $10,000 full cash bond. She was additionally served an indictment warrant for second-degree trafficking a controlled substance.

• Timothy Coffman, 34, of Pineville, was arrested on Sunday after Bell County Sheriff’s Office deputies and officers from the Pineville City Police Department responded to a call of a man assaulting several residents in the Page community.
According to a press release, at 1:31 a.m. on Sunday, police received a call of a man assaulting several people at a residence on Highway 1534 in the Page community. Bell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joel Quillen and Pineville Police Officer Jason Williams responded to the scene where they were told Coffman attempted to sexually assault a female at the home and had also fought with two individuals who had tried to stop the alleged sexual attack. The officers believed Coffman to be under the influence of an unknown intoxicant as he was hallucinating and speaking incoherently.
The release states officers attempted to place Coffman in custody and handcuff him, but he fought with them. Officers say tasers were unsuccessfully deployed against Coffman as well as pepper spray. K9 Jax was deployed and bit Coffman with no effect. Coffman reportedly kicked the animal in the head. The two men who had been fighting with Coffman prior to the call assisted the officers in restraining Coffman to take him into custody. One of the men was later taken to Pineville Community Hospital for a broken nose. Coffman was transported by Bell County EMS to Pineville Community Hospital for treatment.
Coffman was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree assault on a service animal, two counts third-degree assault, resisting arrest, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and public intoxication by a controlled substance excluding alcohol. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $100,000 full cash bond;
• Virgil Ray Craig, 32, was arrested by Kentucky State Police on Friday on an indictment warrant. Craig was indicted for receiving stolen property under $10,000. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $3,500 full cash bond;
• David Hatfield, 39, of Cumberland, was served an indictment warrant by Harlan County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Lewis on Friday. He was indicted for flagrant non-support and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $1,000 surety bond;
• Jimmy Ray Baldwin Jr., 30, of Cumberland, was arrested on Saturday by Cumberland City Police Officer Phillip Ely on an indictment warrant. Baldwin was indicted for flagrant non-support and persistent felony offender. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $2,000 surety bond.
