A Cranks man is facing a theft-related charge after allegedly being found in possession of stolen property.

Roger Muncy, 35, was arrested by Kentucky State Police Trooper Rodney Sturgill on Saturday.

According to the arrest warrant obtained by Sturgill, Muncy was found in possession of stolen property on April 10. Muncy attempted to sell personal belongings that had been reported stolen from Heather Suttles to two neighbors. Suttles’ home was robbed on April 10.

Muncy was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $5,000 full cash bond.

In other police activity:

• Bobby Freeman, 55, of Evarts, was arrested on an indictment warrant by Harlan City Police Capt. Mike Boggs. Freeman was indicted for one count of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance and persistent felony offender II. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond secured by 10 percent.
