Harlan County native and Cumberland campus student Madison Noe was crowned Miss Southeast 2016 in this year’s pageant, held Feb. 27 at Bell County High School in Pineville.
Noe, along with Cassidy Nantz, Katherine Barnett, Alexa Saylor and Alexis Carnes, all from the Middlesboro campus, were the contestants in the contest.
Noe received a crown, sash, prize package from the event sponsors and a $1,000 scholarship to Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College.
She will also represent Southeast at the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival Pageant in Pineville in May.
Alexa Saylor was named first runner up, while Cassidy Nantz took home second runner up honors. Nantz also won Miss Congeniality. Noe won the Best Talent portion of the competition.
Brandon Robinson and Amy Simpson served as the masters of ceremony for the event and SKCTC President Dr. Lynn Moore presented the awards and crowned the winner.
