Trooper involved in crash on bypass

A release states, as Soltess approached the intersection of U.S. 421 and KY 72, he swerved to avoid a vehicle that crossed into his lane of travel and struck a stationary vehicle on Ky 72. Soltess and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Harlan ARH Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released. Lt. Randy Surber responded to the scene and is conducting the investigation.
