Looking for something to do with the family this week to help you get into the Christmas spirit? Look no further than the theatre in the Godbey Appalachian Center on the Cumberland campus of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College.

The Robin Bingham Dance Academy, in conjunction with the SKCTC performing arts initiative, will host the annual Christmas Extravaganza on Dec. 4 and 5. The group, which features school children from across Harlan County, will perform some of your holiday favorites during the performances.

School children from across the area will be treated to two special performances on Dec. 3, at 9 and 11 a.m. The shows on Dec. 4 and 5 are open to all.

Friday’s performance will begin at 7 p.m. while Saturday’s performance will take place at 2:30 p.m. All performances will be in the theatre. Admission for the Friday and Saturday shows will be $5 for children and $10 for adults.

For more information, contact Michael Corriston at 606-589-3137 or Robin Bingham at 606-573-4168.
