‘The Parts House’ opens in Evarts

After seeing a need and looking for ways to help the clover fork area, Jeremy Blevins and Kim Brock decided to open an auto parts store in the city of Evarts.

“We are calling it The Parts House,” said Blevins. “Our slogan is the right parts at the right price guaranteed. We have thousands of items in stock and are adding more daily to our stock. What we don’t have, we can have overnight, so we’re sure to get you the right part at the right price, real fast.”

Located at 117 South Main Street, the hours of operation are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

“Being in the auto repair business for 15 years, we have become acquainted with selling a lot of auto parts,” said Blevins. “We saw an opportunity financially, but also an opportunity to better serve the people. I enjoy the challenge of finding the hard to find parts. I also have a growing desire to assist our residents by selling parts to people who need them.”

The only auto parts store in Evarts, Blevins said they have all major brands of oil, lots of specialty items, batteries, fuel pumps, water pumps, wheel hub assemblies, brake pads and rotors, thermostats, gas caps, radiator caps, various type of belts and hoses and so much more.

“We invite everyone to stop by and check us out for all their automotive needs. We definitely appreciate their business,” Blevins said.

Participating in the ribbon cutting ceremony held on Monday, Mayor Eddie Manning said, “This is the first auto parts in the city we’ve had in the last 12 years. Any time we can get a new business starting up in town, not only does it benefit the city, but it benefits all our citizens. We wish Jeremy and Kim the best of luck in their endeavors in the auto parts business. Jeremy has another business here in town and has been here about a year. A lot of people like his work and he has turned into a good businessman for the city and the citizens. We just wish he and Kim the best of luck.”
