Wreck on U.S. 119


Photos by Joe P. Asher A one-vehicle crash sent two men to the hospital on Tuesday. According to Kentucky State Police Trooper Jake Spurlock, a black passenger vehicle driven by Josh Holbrook was traveling north on U.S. 119. Adam Holbrook was a passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and hit an embankment. The car came to rest in a ditch next to the shoulder of the northbound lane of U.S. 119. Both men were transported to a medical facility for treatment. One man was transported by the Bell County EMS to the Pineville Community Hospital, the other was transported by Harlan EMS to Harlan ARH Hospital. The Harlan County Rescue Squad and Austin’s Towing assisted at the scene.
