US 119 bridge in Cumberland to be inspected Tuesday


Lane restrictions in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

MANCHESTER — A bridge along U.S. 119 in Harlan County will undergo inspection Tuesday. The four-lane bridge is located at mile point 34.8 in Cumberland.

Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to noon. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 1-4 p.m.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected long delays, use the signed detour for alternate routes, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
