Organizations recognize veterans, families

Photo submitted The Mountain Trail Auxiliary, VFW Post 5171 and the Poorfork Homemakers Club recently came together at the Tri-Cities Nursing & Rehabilitation Center to honor veterans and their families, and to remember those that are no longer with us for the Memorial Day holiday. Poorfork Homemakers Club members, Kathleen Cannon, Vera Williams, Cindy Humphrey, Linda Chandler and Marilyn Darnell, are pictured with some of the veterans.
