MANCHESTER — A portion of KY 160 in Harlan County at mile points 11.34–11.35 will be closed beginning May 30, and is expected to re-open in four-to-six weeks. A detour will be in place at an adjacent location.

The road closure is part of the City of Cumberland’s FEMA Flood Mitigation Project.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected long delays, use the signed detour for alternate routes, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
