The Loyall United Methodist Women met on April 25 at the church fellowship hall.
President Barbara Wills opened the meeting with prayer. Secretary/treasurer George Ann Lovely read minutes from last month’s meeting, which were voted on and passed.
In the business meeting, they discussed items to bring to support Ann’s Food Pantry at Harlan United Methodist Church. The women are to bring boxes of complete pancake mix, syrup, and Pop Tarts to the next meeting.
The women also voted to make donations for a mission trip, and help for a child in need.
Wills presented the program, “Don’t let resentment poison your soul.”
The ladies took prayer requests and ended the meeting with prayer.
Refreshments were served to Johnnie Hagy, Beverly White, Audrey Saylor, Brenda Sullivan, Kathy White, Ann Roark, Edwina Hudson, Vickie Gibbs, Carla Hammons, Betty Fraley, George Ann Lovely, Barbara Wills and Jennifer Moody.
The next regular meeting will be held May 23 at the home of Carla Hammons, a family cookout.
