Bell County Homemakers will sponsor a Quilt Show during the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival, to be held in the basement of the Old Bell County Courthouse (enter on fountain side).

Registration will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 25 in the courthouse basement.

Quilts welcome to be entered include full, queen and king size quilts — hand quilted, machine quilted, appliquéd, cross-stitched, novelty or embroidered quilts. Baby quilts, lap quilts or wall hangings can also be shown.

The show will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 26 and 27, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Quilts must be picked up between 2 to 4 p.m. on May 28.
