The Loyall United Methodist Women met on March 21 at the church fellowship hall.
President Barbara Wills opened the meeting with prayer. Secretary/treasurer George Ann Lovely read minutes from February’s meeting and gave the treasury report. Both were accepted.
In the business meeting, the women were to continue their support of the Ann Heck Food Pantry at Harlan United Methodist Church by bringing instant potatoes and canned beef stew.
The group voted to send a donation to Camp Blanton to help with the repair of the damaged cabin. The Maundy Thursday service and Seder Meal planned at the church was also discussed.
A program, titled The Story of Easter Passover, Trial and Crucifixion and He Lives, was presented by Lovely.
Refreshments were served to Barbara Wills, Edwina Hudson, Susan Welch, Carla Hammons, Johnnie Hagy, George Ann Lovely, Barbara Hatfield, Ann and Kaylee Roark, Jennifer Moody, Kathy White and Brenda Sullivan. Hostesses were Better Fraley and Louise Hatfield.
The group’s next regular scheduled meeting will be April 25 at the church.
