Barter Players to stage ‘Frosty’

Pro-Art Association will present the Barter Players as they stage “Frosty” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 12 at Lee Theatre in Pennington Gap, Virginia. The play is presented as part of the Lee County Cultural Arts Series.

As the story goes, a young orphan named Billy discovers magic in a stolen hat when he places it on a snowman’s head — and that snowman suddenly comes to life. But can Frosty help Billy find his real family in time for Christmas?

Join Billy and Frosty as they embark on a New York City adventure filled with thrills and chills, and the discovery that the real magic of Christmas is love.

Admission is free for all.

The Barter Players are professional artists who perform world-class theatre for young audiences. The troupe presents high-energy and original productions which capture the imagination of today’s youth while providing the best in the classic literature and beloved story adaptations.
