Boys & Girls Club ‘Halloween Hustle 5K’

Dressed as a zombie, Monique Wacks, of Rio Vista, is seen registering to participate in the recently held Harlan Boys and Girls Club “Halloween Hustle 5K.”


Getting ready to run in the Harlan Boys and Girls Club “Halloween Hustle 5K” held recently in Harlan was Rene’ Cornette, of Wallins. Dressed as Wonder Woman, Cornette was one among a large crowd participating in the fundraising event.


Making it a family affair, the Henson family, of Harlan, dressed as characters from the Scooby Doo TV cartoon, even adorning a stroller as “The Mystery Machine.” This was all a part of the Harlan Boys and Girls Club “Halloween Hustle 5K.”


Dressed as a cookie monster, Ginger Parks, and super woman, Barbara Ledford, struck a pose as they prepared to run in the Harlan Boys and Girls Club “Halloween Hustle 5K.”


Off and running, participants of the Harlan Boys and Girls Club left the clubhouse in the Fairview area of Harlan, traveling through the community, through downtown Harlan before returning to the clubhouse. The “Halloween Hustle 5K” was a fundraising event for the club.


Those participating in the Harlan Boys and Girls Club “Halloween Hustle 5K” appeared to be having a great time as they ran and walked throughout the Harlan area.
