Local artist displays work

Made from a tomato stake, drilling holes in plastic pumpkins and using them as decor for the upcoming Halloween holiday. She said her brother, Harry Shepherd, of Harlan, helped her with the project. Thomas, who has always had an interest in creating works of art, said she also made the deco-mesh wreath hanging on her door and is the process of making Christmas trees from tomato cages and deco-mesh.
