‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ to be presented Thursday

Pro-Art Association will present “Jack and the Beanstalk” by The Barter Players, in the most fun Jack tale ever to be staged at Lee Theatre in Pennington Gap, Virginia beginning at 7 p.m. on Oct. 1

In this adaptation from the Brothers Grimm, Jack is forced to sell his cow Bessie but he meets two swindlers who send him instead on a madcap adventure up a magical beanstalk.

Admission is $15, adult; $10, senior; $5, students; children under 5, free.

The Barter Players perform world-class theatre for young audiences in a unique combination of education and entertainment, plus a commitment to bring world-class theatre to young people of all ages and backgrounds.
