Two visitors from the British Isles will bring their music to Wise, Virginia at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 in the Slemp Center’s Dogwood Room at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
Admission is free.
Alan Reid and Rob Van Sante have toured the world together. Reid plays keyboard, accordion and guitar, and is an inspiring songwriter. Dutch-born Van Sante is a specialist in the songs of his adopted home in Northumberland.
Together they are remarkable in engaging fans and strangers alike for an evening of old and new music. They combine open tuned lead and accompaniment guitar work from Van Sante, with Reid’s keyboard, guitar and accordion, and fine harmony singing by both.
