Boy Scouts visit airport


Photo submitted The Middlesboro Bell County Airport recently hosted several Boy Scout troops from Middlesboro, Harlan and Corbin. Scouts were given a tour of the airport, maintenance facility, flight planning area and airport storage hangars. In order to be presented with their aviation badge, scouts were required to attend aviation classroom instruction, perform aircraft pre-flight and take a flight in a fixed wing aircraft and helicopter.
