Senior Fun Day, Ice Cream Social held


Photo submitted Harlan Senior Citizens were treated to a Senior Fun Day in July 26 at the Senior Citizens Center in Harlan. Family and Consumer Science Program Assistant Pat Duncan and 4-H Agent Raymond Cox helped each senior make a tie-dye T-shirt of a variety of colors. A lesson on healthy eating was presented by Pat Duncan and a healthy lunch was served by the center. The seniors proudly wore their shirts to an Ice Cream Social presented by the Extension Service on Aug. 25, followed by another healthy eating presentation by Pat Duncan and participation in folk dancing with Raymond Cox.
