Bus tour, hike to Little Stony Falls offered

BIG STONE GAP, Va. — Climb aboard the museum bus and join park staff for a guided hike in one of the region’s premier outdoor destinations, Little Stony Falls, located in the Jefferson National Forest.

Participants will ride the bus to the falls trailhead and then hike up the 2.5-mile trail to reach the falls. The Little Stony Falls Bus Tour is scheduled for July 30, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The Little Stony Fall bus tour will depart the park and travel through beautiful mountain scenery to reach the falls.

Participants must wear appropriate clothing and shoes for hiking. Participants must bring their own snacks and lunch.

The tour fee is $10 per person, and seating is limited.
