William “Brad” Hieatt 60, of Cawood, Ky. Formerly of Bridgeport, Ky. Passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. Brad was a retired truck driver, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and believed in the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William Buckley & Joan Lois Hieatt.

Survivors include his wife; Deloris Hieatt of Cawood, Ky. Seven children; Jennifer Hieatt of Bowling Green, Ky. Virginia Hieatt of Lexington, Ky. Samantha Hieatt of Frankfort, Ky. Jessica Hieatt of Cawood, Ky. Heather Laney of New Albany, IN. T’Sheal Hieatt of Sevierville, TN. & Amanda Hieatt of Barbourville, Ky. Eleven grandchildren. One sister; Jan Thornton of Frankfort, Ky. And several other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Come State Park Amp. With the Rev. Rob Jordan officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Harlan Co. Honor Guard.
