Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to attend a two-day conference “Selling To The World Expo” to be held May 15-16 on the Middlesboro campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College.
Tiffany Bullock Scott, public relations and graphic designer for SKCTC, shared information about the event at a recent meeting of the Harlan Chamber of Commerce,
Scott said this event is being made possible through a Sam’s Club Shared Vision Grant.
Pre-registration for the expo is $30. On-site registration will cost $50. Pre-registration ends May 2 and seating is limited. Registration includes all sessions, Exhibitor Fair and one-year free business consulting (restrictions do apply), a continental breakfast and lunch.
Scott said keynote speakers and presenters during the event will cover topics ranging from website development and social media marketing to shipping and product regulations.
She said with the worldwide web the opportunities for expanding your small business are endless. She added this event will show you how to take advantage of the national and global market at your fingertips.
Whether you already have a store front or just a hobby that you would like to turn into a profitable business, she said you need to make plans to attend the 2014 Selling To The World Expo.

Scott said if your company has a product or service that could help a small business, she would love to have you join the event. She said there are no setup fees. She just wants to showcase your company during their event.
