A Harlan woman was arrested by Kentucky State Police on drug charges.

Tommie Chaffin, 35, was arrested by KSP Det. Keith Saylor late Thursday evening on an indictment warrant.

The three-count indictment, handed down by the grand jury, alleges Chaffin sold or transferred oxycodone, hydrocodone and clonazepam.

Chaffin was charged with one count of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance under 10 pills and two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance less then 20 pills, according to the indictment.

Chaffin was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond secured by 10 percent.

The case is being investigated by Saylor.

In other police activity, Jackie Decker, 30, of Bronston, was arrested Friday on a probation violation for a felony offense. Decker was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
